As posted and broadcasted on KXII, September 16, 2008. Ardmore City Commissioners have approved a plan to annex more than 70 acres off Sam Noble Parkway and Mary Niblack Road. The land is the future home of an extensive research laboratory to be built by Oklahoma State University. Scientists will work closely with colleagues at the nearby Noble Foundation on biofuel research. The annexation was approved Monday night and is required before plans can be made to supply the facility with utilities such as water and sewer services.
