Workshop is Open to the Public

Unpredictable livestock, large farm implements and the chemicals used in production agriculture are just a few of the factors that contribute to making farm and ranch work dangerous. To help educate producers, their employees and their families about farm and ranch safety, the Noble Foundation is hosting a new event: the Ag Safety Seminar. This program is set for Thursday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pavilion on Noble's Ardmore campus.

"This event will address an issue we all need to concentrate on – safety at the farm and ranch level. We have teamed up with outside experts to bring you this timely information," said Shan Ingram, education and special projects manager in Noble's Agricultural Division. "Please plan to join us to learn more about agricultural safety. It is for the benefit of your family, your employees and yourself."

The day's agenda will include an overview and history of agricultural safety along with information on proper handling of pesticides/farm chemicals and the safe handling of livestock and equipment.
