Noble Opportunities: Professional Development
 
 
     
The Noble Foundation provides funding to postdoctoral fellows to attend professional conferences and publish their work. Principal investigators and postdoctoral fellows routinely attend and present at national and international conferences. Travel expenses and conference registrations are paid for by the Foundation.

Poster presentation at conferences is also encouraged through on-campus staff who can assist with poster layout, graphics, photography and poster output.

Research support is enhanced by on-campus library services. The library is open to authorized staff even during non-business hours. Journals may be accessed online at any time from individual workstations.

Many learning opportunities exist at Noble through weekly research reports by our scientists and through periodic talks by invited speakers. Leading scholars in the sciences and the world of commercial agriculture interact with Foundation researchers through on-campus seminars sponsored by the Plant Biology and Forage Improvement Divisions.
