Research Buildings
A major expansion of research facilities began in 1999 with the construction of LabLink, a 48,879-square-foot expansion of the Plant Biology Division building. Lablink, completed in 2003, houses spacious, well-lighted laboratories, conference rooms and postdoc workstations. Each postdoctoral fellow has their own personal workspace with a PC.

The Forage Improvement building, completed in 2005, features laboratories, offices, postdoc workstations and climate-controlled growth and seed storage rooms. The building is both a highly-functional research facility and an aesthetically-pleasing workplace.

Greenhouse and Growing Spaces
In 2001, the Foundation began an aggressive expansion of the on-campus greenhouse complex. Now completed, the greenhouse encloses 73,300-square-feet of research space. Greenhouse chambers are constantly monitored by computer for temperature and humidity control. Recognizing the need for an uninterrupted electrical supply to maintain the integrity of research activities, the campus is self-reliant through modern generating facilities. In addition to the main greenhouse, 85 growth chambers and 30 climate-controlled rooms support Noble scientists.

Research and Demonstration Farms
Interdivisional cooperation between our operating groups allows us to complete the research cycle from basic discovery to field trials. The Noble Foundation’s Agricultural Division manages thousands of acres of working farmland in and around the Ardmore area. Agricultural experiments designed in our Plant Biology and Forage Improvement Divisions are carried through to real-world testing on our farms.
